This post was initially about a bad experience with Spanair regarding missing items in my baggage.
Considering what happened a few hours ago to the passengers of flight JKK 5022, I don’t think this discussion is appropriate or respectful anymore.

I’ve just back from my pleasure’n'work trip in Europe. First I enjoyed one week in Spain, meeting old and new friends, eating all the good stuff & kickin’ it back for long hours. Gotta go back soon, yep.
After that I came back to Eindhoven, The Netherlands, where I spent one of the most boring weeks of my youth: working and walking in one of the most boring cities all across Europe. I also found to my surprise that this city has no single free wireless internet hotspot; but, oh yes, they are covered with expensive pay-per-minute wireless access points, how cool.
Finally I went back to San Francisco with the usual tourist class KLM flight. The whole thing ended with a exhausted credit card and a brand new sport-pimped Mazda 3 waiting on me at the Hertz garage (yay!).
